Digital transformation has become an important driver of long-term business growth in an increasingly competitive and technology-oriented economy. It involves the strategic integration of technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big-data analytics, the Internet of Things, automation, and digital platforms into organizational processes, products, services, and business models. This article examines how digital transformation contributes to sustainable business growth through operational efficiency, innovation, customer engagement, strategic agility, environmental responsibility, and improved decision-making. The study employs a conceptual literature-review methodology based on existing peer-reviewed research. The findings indicate that digital transformation can reduce operating costs, improve resource utilization, enable data-driven decisions, expand market access, and support the development of environmentally and economically sustainable business models. However, its benefits are not automatic. Financial constraints, cybersecurity threats, employee resistance, inadequate digital skills, weak technological infrastructure, and the environmental impact of digital technologies may restrict its effectiveness. The article argues that sustainable outcomes require organizations to align digital initiatives with corporate strategy, environmental objectives, employee development, stakeholder expectations, and responsible governance. Digital transformation should therefore be treated as an organization-wide strategic change rather than merely the introduction of new technology.
